Things are starting to look favourable for Juventus to sign Memphis Depay in January. At least that’s what the local reports are saying.
Tuttosport are claiming today that Juve are confident they can reach a loan deal so they could use the Dutch player until the end of the season.
They say that José Mourinho has already rejected a transfer offer from Everton, because he doesn’t want Depay to leave for good.
That’s only one of the reasons why Juve think the loan deal is possible. Another good argument is that the club’s board would be on good terms with Manchester United, since they negotiated Paul Pogba’s move during the summer.
Juve would take the opportunity to have a player available for the Champions League, as Depay is one of the few available talents who are still eligible to be registered in the competition.
The newspaper claims that PSG, Roma and Atletico Madrid are all interested, but the Old Lady are still confident they can win this race.
