The Brazilian media continues to publish several interviews with Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura, and in every single one of them, there’s a mention of his potential return to São Paulo.
It turns out that in a new conversation with Desimpedidos, the player revealed that he might no return to the Tricolor on his own, as he might bring a Chelsea star with him.
In a recent interview with the Brazilian media, Jorginho revealed that São Paulo are a Brazilian club he has affection for.
Lucas Moura saw those quotes, and now has something on his mind about it.
The Tottenham player claims that once he returns to São Paulo, he’ll call the Chelsea midfielder and ask him to go with him.
“There was a statement from Jorginho, from Chelsea, saying he was São Paulino, it seems. I sent him a private message and said: ‘Let’s go there soon’. Then he said: ‘When you go, call me’. I said: ‘I’ll remember that”, said Lucas (via ESPN Brasil).
Lucas Moura’s contract with Tottenham expires in 2024, and according to his recent interviews, that’s when the chance of a move to São Paulo will be on the table.
Jorginho, meanwhile, is entering the final year of contract with Chelsea, but is normally linked to Italian clubs instead of a return to Brazil.
