From Germany: Jurgen Klopp eyeing no less than 4 of the Bundesliga’s brightest young things

 

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing 4 of the 7 youngsters picked out by SportBild as those most generating interest.

In their edition this week the German magazine have picked out a selection of the Bundesliga’s bright young things and named which clubs are interested in signing them. There’s quite a few English connections, of course, but no Premier League club is mentioned more than Liverpool.

If SportBild are correct then Klopp is interested in all of Jonathan Tah, 20 year old Bayer Leverkusen defender, Mahmoud Dahoud, 21 year old Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder, Julian Brandt, 20 year old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, and Borussia Dortmund’s 18 year old winger Christian Pulisic.

Liverpool have been linked with all of them previously, and the SportBild article just reiterates how much the German media are expecting a Klopp swoop in the summer.

Given the willingness in Germany to drag Jurgen Klopp into any story possible, the only surprise would be that Liverpool haven’t been credited with interest in all 7 of the young stars.

Earlier this month SportBild reported that Klopp could be backed for a Julian Brandt swoop as early as January.
