Chelsea have been linked to three Bundesliga players just over a week after the Blues confirmed the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as Frank Lampard’s successor.

On Wednesday, we carried a report from SportBild, which explained the west London club have included Bayern Munich duo Niklas Süle and David Alaba, along RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano in the summer ‘shopping list’.

The magazine’s report particularly focused on Süle and stated Chelsea already made contact with the Germany international’s representative.

His current deal with the treble winners runs down at the end of the next season, and SportBild reported the Bavarian club will look to cash in from his sale in the summer, if the 25-year-old decides against signing an extension.

Sky Deutschland have a video report on the Bayern man as they state the defender is said to have ‘aroused interest’ from the Premier League side. However, a move away from the Allianz Arena in the summer ‘seems unlikely’.

Bayern want to retain the German for a longer period as Sky states Hansi Flick’s side will ‘try to extend’ Süle’s contract beyond 2022.
