It’s done. It’s finally over. Paul Pogba is basically a Manchester United player, at least according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper claim on their website that the player is ready to fly to London, simply awaiting the green-light from his current club, Juventus, to have his medical with the Premier League club.
L’Equipe might have jumped the gun a little bit last week, but Gazzetta finally confirm what the French newspaper said: everyone has agreed on everything.
The figures are the same as reported in La Stampa this morning, meaning that Juventus will get €110m from the transfer.
Gazzetta also claim to have the player’s salary, saying he will get €12m/year + bonuses for the next five years, with an official announcement ‘very soon’.
They say the player’s next trip will be to Manchester, where Mourinho ‘will welcome him with open arms’.
We’ve been at this stage for the past week or so, so if it doesn’t happen on Friday, it’ll probably happen on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wed.. you get the gist.
That’s, of course, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
