The Portuguese media is back on talking about Porto’s pursuit for the signing of Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic today.
With reports from Italy recently claiming that Sassuolo have now joined the race for the player, newspaper Jornal de Notícias brings an update on the situation today.
They claim that with Porto struggling to match Liverpool’s demands for the transfer, a solution for Grujic’s future should only appear in August.
The player is currently having the pre-season with the Reds, but according to the newspaper’s information, the club continue to look for his sale by demanding between €13m and €15m.
Regarding the competition from Sassuolo, Jornal de Notícias writes that Grujic continues to have Porto as a priority, following the successful loan spell he had with the Dragons last season.
The Serbian player has a contract with Liverpool running until 2023, so the Reds aren’t in any hurry in finding a good deal for his departure this summer.
