Justin Kluivert’s transfer to Fulham has really fallen through, according to the latest reports from Italy.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio now features an update claiming the negotiations are ‘completely dead’ following the player’s issues to get a work permit.
Roma are said to be ‘baffled’ with the situation, and claim that the responsibility belongs to Fulham.
It’s claimed that the Whites had the player ‘blocked’ for a month, with him rejecting other possibilities for the future, and now risk not finding ‘new solutions in time’.
Roma are still interested in selling Kluivert, and now hope he can agree to another destination in the final hours of the transfer market.
They’re said to ‘feel exempt’ from any guilt in this case, and also ‘feel affected’ as they could have sold him to some other club.
Fulham’s failure in getting a work permit for Kluivert had been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio earlier today, but there had still been hope that Fulham could find a way to get the deal over the line.
It was said they were working with lawyers to try and clarify the situation with the FA, but now it seems that really isn’t happening.
