Earlier today, we covered reports from Brazil which said Fulham were ‘evaluating’ the possibility of making an offer for Flamengo star Pedro.
Looking to replace Aleksandar Mitrović, it was said the Whites made contact for the signing, even though they haven’t talked about numbers yet.
It turns out that as Goal Brasil now features a story on this situation, they say Fulham actually have an idea of how much they’d need to spend on this signing.
The outlet writes that the Whites recently contacted Pedro’s staff, willing to offer €25m for the transfer, and were told that Flamengo wouldn’t sell him for that much.
Now Fulham are said to be evaluating whether they are willing to make an official offer worth more than that.
What Marco Silva’s side have as an advantage is that Pedro wants to leave Flamengo and already told that to the board.
The player was recently punched in the face by a member of Jorge Sampaoli’s staff, and even though the aggressor was fired, the player is not satisfied with the way he’s being treated there, as he’s been benched lately.
Still, Flamengo don’t want him sold before the end of the season, so Fulham’s bid would need to be convincing enough.
