Fulham are in the picture to sign AS Roma’s Justin Kluivert in the ongoing window, according to Thursday’s Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Netherlands international has returned to the Serie A side after spending the previous campaign on loan at OGC Nice. He managed six goals and six assists from 31 matches in all competitions while in France.
Apart from Fulham, the Ligue 1 club are also in the mix to secure the winger’s services.
When it comes to the newly promoted Premier League side, it’s claimed ‘there is still the interest’ from Fulham in the 23-year-old.
The former Ajax man has less than 12 months left on his current deal, and the newspaper states Marco Silva’s side are ‘ready to offer’ €9.5m to the Giallorossi to secure his services.
Although Nice are interested to take the Dutchman away from José Mourinho’s side, his wages are the ‘problem’ for the French club.
Gazzetta dello Sport, however, does not mention whether Fulham are in a position to meet his salary demands.
