Reported Everton target Mohamed Camara is ‘determined’ to leave Red Bull Salzburg this summer but is yet to receive an offer from any club.

That’s according to Salzburg 24, who provide an insight into the situation around the midfielder today.

Camara has this week found himself linked with a move to Everton, who have turned their attention to the 22-year-old amid difficulties in signing Idrissa Gana Gueye according to reports in England.

Those claims have now been picked up on in Austria, where they insist Salzburg are yet to receive an official offer for Camara.

They explain that the midfielder is currently ‘playing no role at all’ at Salzburg, with him not even in the squad. His future, though, is ‘increasingly coming into focus’.

While there are currently no concrete offers on the table for him, the Malian is ‘determined’ to leave the club this summer and ‘dreams of playing in the Premier League’.

Securing that departure is proving to be difficult, though, with a potential move to Leeds and reunion with Jesse Marsch falling by the wayside earlier this summer.

That’s left Camara’s future ‘in limbo’, with him only a ‘training guest’ at his club at this moment in time and his future ‘uncertain’.

Whether he’d be open to a move to Everton isn’t mentioned, and those claims are very much from England at this point, but he is a ‘luxury problem’ for Salzburg.

The club are insisting there are no interested parties, telling Salzburg 24 “until Thursday evening, we had not received any offer for Camara,” via a spokesperson.

That could always change, particularly with reports today continuing to insist Everton are struggling to get a deal for Gueye over the line.

For the moment, though, there is no offer from anyone, despite Camara dreaming of the Premier League and being determined to leave Salzburg.
