According to a claim in the Italian media, Fulham are interested in signing Atalanta defender Rafael Toloi ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.
The Premier League side have already been linked with fellow Serie A central defender Medhi Benatia in recent days, but it seems the Juventus man will go elsewhere.
TMW have reported in the last hour Fulham are now targeting Toloi as they look to bolster their defensive options in this transfer window.
It’s claimed Fulham have already made contract with Toloi’s agent with regards to a move to England and the player has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League following Watford’s interest in the player last year.
The 28 year old is contracted to Atalanta until June 2020 and he’s been with the Italian club since 2015.
