Just because the Justin Kluivert to Fulham saga has gone a bit quiet compared to a few days ago doesn’t mean the talks are over.
We know this because Corriere della Sera’s Rome edition have a small update on the situation, looking at who from AS Roma could still leave before the end of the transfer window.
They make it clear the Dutchman is one of those, who has been a target for Fulham for quite some time now without the two sides being able to find an agreement.
There have been a few ups and downs in the negotiations, as the Italians want the money to be guaranteed, while Marco Silva’s side appear more intent on getting him on loan first.
Either way, the newspaper state that ‘the push and pull with Fulham continues’ when it comes to Kluivert, meaning the two clubs are still hashing things out.
Whether an agreement is ultimately reached before the end of the transfer window remains to be seen, but there is time left, and it appears Silva really wants the Netherlands international at Craven Cottage.
