Lyon defender Kenny Tete has passed his medical with Fulham, with a move to London now seemingly imminent.

That’s according to Voetbal International, who say the 24-year-old ‘leaves for the Premier League’.

The newspaper explains Tete is being allowed to leave Lyon this summer after falling down the pecking order under manager Rudi Garcia, who has chosen Léo Dubois as his first-choice right-back.

That has left Tete to ‘make do’ with a substitutes role, something he is presumably not happy about at this stage of his career.

If that is the case a move away will appeal, and Fulham have emerged on the scene, with Scott Parker looking to strengthen his squad following their return to the Premier League.

Reports in England have linked them with a move over the last week, and VI now say that he has completed a medical ahead of completing a transfer.

They provide no information on either the cost of the move or contract details, just that the Dutch international, who was with the national team last week but did not feature against either Poland or Italy, will compete with Denis Odoi and Cyrus Christie for Fulham’s right-back spot.
