Turkish newspaper Aksam report Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri will fly to London to complete his move to Fulham.
Earlier this week we covered claims from Turkey that Besiktas have accepted Fulham’s €6m offer for the player and all that needed to be sorted was the commission the player’s agent would be receiving.
It’s now looking very likely Fabri willbe at Fulham next season and Aksam say the Premier League’s goalkeeping coach Jose Sambade is the main reason the player will leave Besiktas to join the West London club.
Aksam report Sambade personally called Fabri and used their relationship to convince him over a move to Fulham.
The Spanish goalkeeper reportedly wanted to work with Sambade again, this time at Fulham.
After joining on a free transfer from Deportivo La Coruna on the advice of Sambade, Fabri will now be leaving Besiktas after two successful seasons in Turkey. The player won the Turkish Super Lig title whilst with the Istanbul club.
