Fulham midfielder André-Frank Zambo Anguissa is a potential target for AC Milan, who are keen to add another midfielder to their squad.
The Italian side have already completed a move for highly-rated Sandro Tonali from Brescia this summer but are keen to add another alongside him.
They have been heavily linked with a move for Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko, who spent time on loan at the club earlier in his career, while Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira is another who has been named as a target.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, the ‘new name’ on their list of potential signings is that of Anguissa.
The midfielder has returned to Fulham from a successful loan spell with Villarreal last year but has been linked with a move away, despite featuring in the defeat to Arsenal on the opening weekend.
Sky state that there was a meeting between Anguissa’s agent and AC Milan at Casa Milan ‘in recent days’ and that means he could become a ‘concrete option’ if they can find an agreement on the ‘formula and figures’ with Fulham.
CalcioMercato back all this up, also stating that there was a recent meeting with his agent about a potential move.
They, though, explain that the option of signing the Fulham man has arisen as a result of the ‘stalemate’ with Chelsea regarding Bakayoko.
That has led those in charge at Milan to look at alternatives, and Anguissa is one of them, alongside Florentino Luis at Benfica and Boubakary Soumaré at Lille.
