Haberturk insist Fenerbahce did table a bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Earlier this week, Bein Sports Turkey claimed Fenerbahce had agreed on a deal with Tottenham to sign Sissoko and that they’d also agreed personal terms with the Frenchman.
Despite these claims, Fenerbahce released a statement denying the talks to sign Sissoko but Haberturk now claim the Turkish club did make an offer.
According to Haberturk, Fenerbahce were prepared to pay a €4m loan fee to Tottenham and the player would have received a €650K signing on fee.
It’s also reported Fenerbahce had agreed on personal terms with Sissoko, said to be €3.2m a season… but due to last minute problems the Turkish club then pulled out of a deal to sign him.
Sissoko wasn’t part of Tottenham’s matchday squad against Manchester United but despite strong links to Fenerbahce it seems the player will now be staying in London.
