Former Everton winger Yannick Bolasie would love one last crack at the Premier League after leaving Caykur Rizespor in Turkey.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the former Everton, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough man wants to return to England.

The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Rizespor and continuing to look for a new destination despite the transfer window having closed.

Bolasie has seen several different windows close without any offers arriving, including the Saudi Arabian and Turkish windows, but that hasn’t dampened his hopes of finding a new club.

He wants ‘a new challenge’ in a ‘European Big 5 club’ but his preference would be a return to England or even the chance at ‘evolving in France’ as he played there for few months before moving to England earlier in his career.

Discussions are currently underway with several potential options and there is a belief that a deal could be struck quickly for him.

Bolasie remains ‘in good shape’ despite now being 34 years old and only ‘wants one thing’ and that is to find a new team that will trust him.

Who that may be after his disappointing time at Everton, then Aston Villa and Middlesbrough remains to be seen but the hope is there, and talks are seemingly underway.
