Younes Kaboul has spent over 10 years in England, having played for Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Watford. He is currently at Vicarage Road and his contract with the Hornets runs down next summer.
According to France Football, the centre-back’s experience of playing in England’s top flight club competition for more than a decade has not gone unnoticed and is attracting interest from ‘several Ligue 1 clubs’.
Miguel Cardoso’s side allowed Koffi Djidji to join Serie A side Torino on a season-long loan deal, while Nicolas Pallois has struggled to get regular playing time following the arrival of the Portuguese coach.
Pallois, who is attracting interest from Caen, reportedly had an altercation with his manager and is training away from the main group. Given that, Nantes are looking to sign Kaboul, but the report does not mention if the player and/or Watford are interested in the transfer.
