Monday saw Sky Sports poke the Celtic bear with news that Marseille had held talks with the Scottish Premiership champions regarding the possible transfer of Moussa Dembélé for around £20m, and excitement arose in France about it all.
A poll suggested nearly three quarters of football fans saw the French striker as the ideal man to bolster the Ligue 1 club’s attack, and questions were asked when the 21-year-old wasn’t at training on Tuesday morning.
While we didn’t see too much about it being linked to a transfer, it seems TF1 in France decided to double check, just in case it was.

Fortunately for Celtic fans, according to Julien Maynard, Dembélé skipped training on Tuesday due to some pain in his thigh, and it seems his absence was more precautionary than anything else.
It seems more like this is an injury rather than an ‘injury’.
The young Celtic forward scored 32 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions last year in his first season at the club following his free transfer from Fulham.
