Regardless of what the English press are saying about Manchester United’s interest in Fabinho, some in Europe seem adamant the Red Devils are after the Brazilian.
After claims from Italy a deal could be done this week, it’s now France’s turn to fuel the hope of all the Manchester United fanb… , ahem, fans, we mean fans, around the world with claims the Premier League club are still in talks with the versatile player.
RMC Sport on Monday have published an article via Mohamed Bouhafsi claiming that Paris Saint-Germain, via their new director of football, Antero Henrique, have relaunched talks with the Monaco midfielder’s entourage, with a meeting organised between the two parties.
As for Manchester United, well, talks between the player and those in charge at Old Trafford are ongoing, with the English club having made him ‘one of their priorities’ this summer.
Interestingly, RMC make it clear that, unlike what their Italian colleagues reported, no agreement has been reached between Ed Woodward and Monaco.
At the moment, it’s Italian press vs French media, with the England lot refusing to take part.
May the best team win.
