Ever since their crazy summer of getting nearly every single piece of Paris Saint-Germain news right, it’s hard to ignore what’s being said by the Twitter account Paris United.
They don’t come out with lots of crazy rumours, and certainly don’t endorse any, so when they report whatever they’ve heard, it makes it that little bit more believable.
On Friday, one of their rare exclusives involved an interest from Manchester City in Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe.
As rumours go, there are far more unbelievable ones going around, especially as Pep Guardiola is currently trying to bolster his Manchester City defence, with Aymeric Laporte the most likely candidate.
However, the French website claim the Spaniard enquired about Kimpembe’s situation in Paris, only to be told by the France international he had no intention of leaving his club for England midway through the season.
Let’s be honest, with no release clause to trigger and a World Cup spot to play for, this was always a long shot.
