Having shocked the transfer world with their news breaking for all things Paris Saint-Germain, Paris United became a very difficult source of information to ignore when it came to stories surrounding the Ligue 1 champions.
We’ve been covering what they’ve had to say since then, and it appears they are now branching out to European transfer news, creating a Euro United Twitter account.
This, as far as we can tell, concerns all the information they receive that doesn’t concern Paris Saint-Germain, which, on Monday, includes an Everton and Leicester City update.
Since this is the first story we’ve covered of theirs, we’d recommend taking it with a pinch of salt, at least for now, but Euro United claim both the Foxes and the Toffees have put in a bid for Montpellier left-back Jérôme Roussillon.
Leicester have recently been linked with Jordan Lukaku (Christian Fuchs is 32), while Everton will need to replace Leighton Baines at some point.
According to Euro United, they aren’t the only ones after him, with AS Monaco, Fenerbahce and Sevilla all also keen, and all three hold an advantage over the English duo.
Roussillon is said to want to prioritise clubs who will be playing in Europe next season, which all three of the aforementioned sides will be doing in some shape or form.
Leicester and Everton, however, will not.
As we’ve already said, we’d recommend taking this with a pinch of salt for now, just because we can’t vouch for Euro United like we can for their Paris focused counterparts.
Time will tell if our skepticism is well-founded.
