We covered early reports last week, and now Le10 Sport reckon that contact has been made between the Ligue 1 side and the various parties surrounding the player, but the transfer remains a difficult one to complete.
The French website reckon that with a wage of around €3-4m at Chelsea, any deal would be difficult to complete, meaning a move to China is more likely for the Nigerian midfielder.
All hope is not lost for Marseille, but it won’t be easy.
