Still leaving the door slightly open for a departure with his comments after helping Manchester United beat Chelsea 4-0 on the opening day of the season, Paul Pogba still seems somewhat intent on heading to Real Madrid this summer if he can.
However, the Premier League club and their manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, seemed very reluctant for that to happen before the end of the transfer window, and now unable to replace the Frenchman, it’s even more unlikely they’ll allow him to leave.
That hasn’t stopped Real Madrid from trying, however, as Soccer Link in France claim the Spanish giants have seen a €107m bid rejected for the France international.
Despite talk that Neymar could head to Spain’s capital, Zidane is said to have made it clear once again he wants Pogba at Santiago Bernabeu.
Unfortunately for him, United aren’t expected to let their star midfielder go this summer, and the English media have backed this up, with The Telegraph explaining the club ‘won’t entertain offers’ before the end of the Spanish transfer window.
