Olivier Giroud’s situation at Inter continues to be scrutinised by the Italian media, and it seems everyone wants to jump on the band wagon.

You know the gist of the story by now, as the France international is unhappy at Chelsea due to his lack of game time, and the player has made that very clear over the past international break.

He has said he ‘can’t be satisfied’ with what’s going on at Stamford Bridge, and that has set a few tails wagging over in Milan.

Conte likes the player, and wouldn’t mind being reunited with him at San Siro, and it’s stated in Corriere dello Sport on Thursday that his situation, since being relegated to the bench, has caused a ‘fracture’ that is now ‘incurable’.

That comes after Chelsea tried to renew the player’s contract, which Giroud clearly turned down since he’s currently free to leave at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

He feels he still has plenty to give, which could exclude an exotic destination, but it will likely all depend on the offers in front of him.

If one comes from Inter, he could very well be tempted as long as he’s guaranteed some game time.
