After a long time reporting Juventus’ wish to sign Paul Pogba back from Manchester United, Italian newspaper Tuttosport finally comes up with something new.
They claim that besides the options to go back to his old love, which is Juventus, playing for his idol, Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, and going back home to Paris Saint Germain, the Frenchman now has a fourth option.
It’s said that Inter Milan are interested in the signing. This wish has shown up in other conversations the Italian club had been having with agent Mino Raiola.
Club director Beppe Marota is the one who signed Pogba from Manchester United back in 2010, and could now do the same for Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri would have a special advantage over Juventus in this race, which is their relationship with Manchester United. The clubs have been good friends lately, following the agreements for the transfers of Ashley Young, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku.
Still, the big problem continues to be Paul Pogba’s price. Previous reports said Juventus were planning to sign him for €100m, and with clubs struggling due to the Coronavirus crisis, this operation could now only go on in case the Red Devils give a discount.
The same should go for Inter Milan.
