Takvim claim Besiktas have identified Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic as a target before this week’s transfer deadline.
The Black Eagles are in the market to sign a winger after they sold Ryan Babel to Fulham earlier in the transfer window. The Turkish giants are also said to be targeting Tottenham Hotspur’s Georges Kevin N’Koudou.
According to Takvim, intermediaries have offered the Liverpool winger to Besiktas and the club’s manager Senol Gunes is said to be open to working with the Serbian.
After Gunes’ approval to sign the player, Takvim claim Besiktas officials have opened talks with Liverpool to sign the 24 year old, who currently isn’t a part of Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
He doesn’t have a future under Klopp and should move on in this transfer window.
Markovic spent the 2015/16 season in Turkey with Fenerbahce and the player has also been linked with a move to Mexican side Club America.
