The panic is really starting to set in Italy over Emre Can’s decision to make Juventus sweat over whether or not he’ll be joining them in the summer.

We already covered Tuttosport’s claims on Wednesday that the Serie A leaders were starting to look elsewhere after the Liverpool midfielder didn’t give an answer by April 7th, which was their own personal deadline, and now Corriere dello Sport are jumping in with their information.

While the former of the two outlets stated Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey were Juventus’ next targets to bolster their midfield, the latter doesn’t mention either of the Premier League players, suggesting Max Allegri will most likely stick to Serie A players, such as Bryan Cristante or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The fear here is that Emre Can will do to them what Axel Witsel pulled off a year or so ago, which was to come extremely close to signing in Turin, only to go elsewhere (in that case China) at the last minute.

Even if the Liverpool man has said yes to Juventus in his head and is only remaining quiet out of respect for his current side, that’s not enough for the Italians, who want a definitive answer.

The Serie A club has done everything in its power to put itself in the best position possible to sign Can, but the love hasn’t been reciprocated just yet.
