West Bromwich Albion technical consultant Guilanio Terraneo has reportedly identified Fenerbahce midfielder Oguz Kagan Guctekin as a target for the Premier League club.

Manchester City were linked with the youngster last summer following reports they’d tabled a bid for the player.

Sporx report Terraneo is looking to sign Oguz Kagan from Fenerbahce as a part of the rebuilding plan at West Brom.

It’s looking increasingly likely West Brom will be playing in the Championship and with key players expected to leave the Hawthorns new recruits will need to be brought in.

Terraneo and Oguz Kagan worked together at Fenerbahce when the Italian was the sporting director of the Turkish giants, and signing the 19 year old could be good business for West Brom.

West Brom have also been linked with Oguz Kagan’s teammate Josef de Souza in the past week.

Oguz Kagan is highly rated by the Fenerbahce coaching staff, and his performances for the Turkish side brought him to the attention of Manchester City.

Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim confirmed in November they rejected a €5m bid from Manchester City during the final days of last summer’s transfer window.
