Kemar Roofe will not be playing for Leeds United for the 2019/20 season.
On August 5th, Het Laatste Nieuws reported that Anderlecht are set to acquire his services.
Het Belang van Limburg relay the claims made by HLN in today’s edition of the newspaper, and provide an additional update.
The forward has been struggling with an ankle injury, but that hasn’t stopped him from clearing his medical test with the Jupiler Pro League club.
It’s claimed the Leeds player arrived in Brussels on Monday with his family. His wife and daughters came to support the injured attacker, when he was undergoing medical with Vincent Kompany’s side.
Roofe will sign a three year deal with Anderlecht and the Championship side will receive €6m plus €500,000 in bonuses from the 26-year-old’s sale.
His transfer to Anderlecht is expected to be made official soon, but Roofe will have to wait for a couple weeks before making his debut for them.
