With all the talk surrounding the future of Wesley Fofana at Leicester City these days, there is a belief the Frenchman could end up heading to Chelsea.

The player was left out of the starting line-up at the weekend, alongside Youri Tielemans, with Brendan Rodgers explaining their heads weren’t in the right place to start a Premier League game, clearly hinting that all the transfer talk had affected them.

In the meantime, Leicester continue to try and get as much money as possible from the Stamford Bridge side, all the while looking at potential replacements.

That’s where Paris Saint-Germain’s Abdou Diallo comes in, according to Media Foot in France, who is a player the Foxes have been ‘following very closely’ for ‘two years’.

As of now, Leicester ‘haven’t taken concrete steps’ to sign the defender, but ‘if the Fofana transfer takes place, everything could happen quickly’.

The King Power Stadium residents will need to beware of competition, however, as AS Roma and West Ham are also said to be on the case as we head into the final week of the summer transfer window.
