Earlier on Tuesday, we covered claims made from Italy that Manchester United and Inter Milan have signed all the documents related to André Onana’s transfer after the two clubs have sorted out the final details of the operation.

It was also stated the goalkeeper is expected to travel to Manchester today to undergo medical tests with the Red Devils. There seems to be progress on this front if a report from Sky Italia is to be believed.

It’s claimed the Cameroonian has this morning left the Serie A side’s training centre in Appiano Gentile, to complete a switch to Manchester United.

The report adds the 27-year-old is soon to make a trip to England to become a ‘new player’ of the Premier League side.

Sky Italia say ‘everything is done’ with regards to the former Ajax man’s impending move to Old Trafford for around €55m including bonuses. He’ll replace David De Gea to become Manchester United’s new No.1 from next season.

Onana played under Erik ten Hag when the pair were at Ajax and the two are set to be reunited at Manchester United soon.
