Hurriyet claim Galatasaray have an agreement with Manchester City to sign midfielder Fernando.
According to the Turkish newspaper, Fernando has accepted Galatasaray’s offer of a three year contract, and the clubs have also come to an agreement.
It’s also been claimed Galatasaray have had an offer accepted by Manchester City, so Fernando is now expected to travel to Istanbul and have his medical on Sunday.
Fernando’s role decreased under Pep Guardiola last season, and the Brazilian started just five Premier League games. An exit this summer has been on the cards and Manchester City have allowed Fernando’s representatives to find a new club for the player.
Should Fernando pass his medical on Sunday, and should no last minute problems get in the way of a deal, Hurriyet believe the midfielder will join his new teammates next week. Galatasaray are currently in Austria as part of their preseason and Fernando would travel from Istanbul to there.
