Arkadiusz Milik hasn’t featured for Napoli this season and needs to leave the Serie A side in the winter market in order to retain his ambition of representing Poland at Euro 2020.

Everton and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly showed interest in the striker in the summer.

Last week, Calciomercato explained a move to the Merseyside club next month remains a possibility for the 26-year-old.

The Toffees’ interest in the former Ajax man has also been discussed in England, and these claims have been relayed by Polish outlet GOL24. The website also provides their own information, after obtaining it from their ‘informant’.

A source has told GOL24 Everton’s interest in the frontman has been ‘going on from the summer’.

It’s claimed Carlo Ancelotti wanted to bring in a new striker in the last window, but with Dominic Calvert-Lewin ‘exploding’, the former Chelsea manager is now looking for a backup option, because his side are in contention to qualify for next season’s European competition.

GOL24 states the Premier League club have the budget to sign Milik, but just like during the summer, the agent will have a ‘lot to say’. According to the report, the representatives didn’t get along very well with Everton in the last window.

The same source adds Everton will be dragged into the January saga, but there’s a good possibility Milik will continue in Italy.
