Over the last year, Barcelona has become something of a shopping ground for Everton and Marcel Brands.
Last summer they signed Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne from the club on permanent deals, with Andre Gomes also arriving on loan. The latter then turned his deal into a permanent one this summer and it seems Everton aren’t done there.
The Blues are now keen on Malcom, who looks set to the leave the Nou Camp to either make space for Neymar or get playing time elsewhere.
And El Desmarque report today that Everton remain among Malcom’s suitors and ‘would be willing’ to spend €35m to get him.
It’s not the first time they’ve shown an interest, with the newspaper saying it’s been there since last May, although it seems they will be turned down if that’s how much they do offer.
Barca president Josep Bartomeu is looking to make his money back on the forward, having paid €41m for him last year, and thus it seems any Everton bid lower than that would be rejected outright.
Either way, Malcom is definitely up for sale with the newspaper saying Barca view him as one of their more saleable assets with their roads ‘destined to separate’. If Everton want him, though, it seems they’ll have to put more money on the table.
