Fotomac report Everton have identified Galataaray’s Christian Luyindama as a transfer target once again, and that they are currently following the player’s situation.
The DR Congo defender has totally recovered from a serious knee injury which he picked up last November. The Turkish newspaper claim financially troubled Galatasaray could accept a reasonable offer should one arrive from Everton.
Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti is looking to strengthen his squad after finishing 12th in the Premier League this season and signing a defender is one of the priorities for the Italian.
Gala have high earners on their books like Radamel Falcao, Fernando Muslera and Sofiane Feghouli, so selling Luyindama could help reduce the strain.
Luyindama’s contract with the Cim Bom will expire at the end of June 2022.
