Bought from Juventus last summer, Moise Kean has struggled in his debut season at Everton.
The Italy international failed to impress Marco Silva and his situation hasn’t changed after Carlo Ancelotti replaced the former Watford manager in December.
Two days ago, Calciomercato reported Kean wants to join AS Roma, but the Toffees’ €28m demand has been the major stumbling block for the Giallorossi.
Kean’s interest in joining Roma has also been relayed by Area Napoli and they take a look at whether Napoli retain a chance to land the striker.
The Naples club, who showed interest in the player when he was at Juventus, must ‘define the future of Lorenzo Insigne and Hirving Lozano’ in order to stay in the race for Kean. The three players are managed by Mino Raiola.
Lozano is looking for a move away from Napoli after failing to convince Gennaro Gattuso. If the Mexican decides to stay at the club, he is likely to settle for a place on the bench next season.
Area Napoli states: ‘Everton, which probably, as mentioned, will sell Kean, could buy Lozano’.
It could possibly be a case of one in, one out at Everton and whether or not the Merseyside club and Napoli will look for a swap deal involving Kean and Lozano isn’t clear.
