Lukasz Teodorczyk has enjoyed an excellent season for Anderlecht. At the turn of 2017, Teo had 24 goals in 32 matches for the Belgian club, and they were relieved to have a buying option from Dynamo Kyiv.

in March the Polish striker was linked with Everton and West Brom, and those links made some sense. Ronald Koeman and Tony Pulis may well be looking to add an out and out centre forward in the next window, and Teo could be that man.

Then came further links, with first Southampton, and then Liverpool and West Ham said to be interested. Southampton had just signed Manolo Gabbiadini, Liverpool don’t always utilise a player like Teo, but West Ham are always looking for a striker.

The price sounded reasonable. When Belgian newspaper HBVL linked Everton and West Brom, the cost was put at €15m to €20m for the 25 year old.

Screen Shot 2017-04-25 at 12.35.39Now that’s dropped. Het Nieuwsblad believe €20m is unreasonable for Anderlecht to expect, and state Teo could go for just €12m. That’s because he’s only scored 4 goals in 17 games since the turn of the year.

It’s only fair to point out Teo has been hampered by injury, and that’s not such a barren spell if it’s to be put in the context of the season.

€12m? It’s worth consideration for Everton, West Brom and any other clubs who may be interested.
