Despite Everton accepting a £10m bid from Crystal Palace, Oumar Niasse’s transfer to the Eagles never materialised on deadline day.

The English press claim agent fees and paperwork issues stopped the Senegalese’s move to Selhurst Park, and this has come as a huge boost to Fenerbahce, according to claims in the Turkish media.

Fanatik say Fererbahce are targeting Niasse and are ready to offer €2m to loan the Everton outcast for the rest of the season. The Turkish giants now have until Friday to agree a deal with Everton, before the Turkish window closes, and negotiations are reported to be ongoing with the Premier League side.

Niasse has continuously been overlooked by Everton manager Ronald Koeman, ever since the Dutchman arrived at Goodison Park last summer. He’s yet to play a game under Koeman, and last season was sent out on loan to Hull City.

After accepting Crystal Palace’s offer for Niasse, Everton might not be happy with a €2m loan bid from Fenerbahce, but if they want to offload the forward at least until next summer, this might be their only option.
