Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi says he doesn’t know if the club will move for Allan or Hirving Lozano this summer.
The Toffees are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window, and both manager Carlo Ancelotti and Marcel Brands seek to overhaul the squad.
It has been suggested Ancelotti will have funds available to build on the squad he inherited from Marco Silva, particularly after Everton elected not to make signings in January.
A raid on former club Napoli has been predicted in some corners, with Allan and Lozano both linked with potential moves over the last month.
Jacomuzzi doesn’t know if they will be happening but has full faith that Ancelotti and Brands know what they are doing.
“Lozano and Allan at Everton? I don’t know, you have to ask the manager,” he told Calcio Napoli 24 TV.
“I have nothing to teach these gentlemen; they know how to work in the market.”
Ancelotti has proven to be a big hit at Everton since he was appointed as Silva’s replacement in the middle of January.
Indeed, since the Italian’s arrival at Goodison Park, only league leaders Liverpool have been better than the Blues in the form table.
It’s sparked widespread praise for Ancelotti, whose reputation had taken something of a battering following a disappointing end to his time in Napoli, and Jacomuzzi says his success so far is all down to ‘simple things.’
“Ancelotti? He arrived in England and does simple things without many tricks,” he added.
“He put the players in their places and made them play the English way. The results come by giving the right confidence to the players who are of a good level.
“Maybe he doesn’t do the show he did in Naples, Madrid and Milan (but) he put the team in a position to do well. In the next month, I will meet him.”
