Arsen Zakharyan made his first team debut for FC Dynamo Moscow in 2020 and is a regular for the club, managing three goals and seven assists from 15 matches in all competitions this season.
The midfielder’s fine displays for the Russian side have not gone unnoticed and he’s caught Everton’s attention.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Toffees have set their sights on the 18-year-old, who has become the ‘revelation of the Russian Premier League’.
There’s a ‘strong attempt’ from Rafael Benítez’s side as they are ‘pressing hard’ to acquire the young star’s services. His current deal with Dynamo will run down in 2024 and as per the report, Zakharyan is valued in excess of €10m.
Earlier this month, Dynamo manager Sandro Schwarz urged the Russia international to continue his development for a few more years with his current employer before taking the next step.
Zakharyan was linked to Liverpool and other clubs across Europe a few weeks ago.
Sergey Stepashin, a member of Dynamo Moscow board of directors, stressed his side were not approached by the Reds and blamed his agent for the recent reports.
