Premier League side Everton were one of the clubs who watched the Portuguese League game between Rio Ave and Belenenses on Sunday.
It’s A Bola who reports the story today, saying Marco Silva’s side were after ‘quality and potential’ from some of the players who were in action.
It turned out to be an entertaining game, with Rio Ave opening the score, Belenenses equalising, the home side making it 2-1 and the away side equalising again.
Gelson Dala was by far the man of the match, having his part in both of Rio Ave’s goals. His teammate Galeno also did pretty good on the left wing.
For the away side, wingers Licá and Fredy had a great performance.
Scouts from Manchester United, Celta Vigo, Deportivo La Coruña and Villarreal attended the match as well.
Rio Ave are currently managed by José Gomes, who could be moving to England soon, as he’s confirmed he has an invitation from Reading.
