Everton and Nottingham Forest are two potential destinations for Rangers star Alfredo Morelos, according to reports.
It’s Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra who today shares an interesting update on the future of the 26-year-old, who will be leaving Michael Beale and Ibrox this summer.
He claims that Morelos and Rangers did not find an agreement for a new contract, and that will allow him to leave as a free agent on the 1st of July.
Speaking of the clubs who are interested in his situation, there are Cadiz, Everton, Fenerbahce, Nottingham Forest, Sevilla and an unnamed Italian club.
The report doesn’t make it clear whether any of those sides are leading the race for now, as the free agency situation gives all the club the same conditions to land Morelos.
The striker joined Rangers on a €1.2m deal from Finnish side HJK Helsinki back in 2017. In his six years at the Scottish club, he had 124 goals and 58 assists in 268 appearances.
With so many clubs now wanting him, that will be an interesting summer for Morelos, especially with Everton and Nottingham Forest giving him the chance of playing in the Premier League.
