Moise Kean is unlikely to stay at Juventus this summer, with them determined to get rid of the Everton man this summer.
That’s according to Niccolo Ceccarini, who says the striker could return to Paris Saint Germain but only if they manage to sell Mauro Icardi.
He explains that ‘it is difficult’ for Kean to stay at Juventus this summer as they no longer want him and are looking at other targets instead.
Kean is currently in Turin on a two-year loan deal, which saw the Italians pay figures for this year and next year with an obligation to buy him back €28m at the end of next season if certain objectives are met.
They’re set to be, so the club will be forced to pay €28m for a player that they no longer want, particularly after they signed Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window.
Numerous reports in Italy over the last few weeks have made it clear that Juventus are looking to deal with the situation this summer and get rid of the striker once again.
Ceccarini backs that up and states that it will be difficult for Kean to stay at the club, and a return to PSG ‘is not excluded’ at this point.
They still remember his excellent year there on loan and would be keen to get him back, particularly if Kylian Mbappe leaves as expected this summer.
However, they will only make their move if Mauro Icardi leaves the club first, so that will have to be dealt with before they can move for Kean.
Both clubs would also have to reach an agreement with Everton, who will have to be paid the €28m already agreed in the loan to Juventus.
The obvious solution is that Juventus pay that a year early for Kean and then sell him to PSG for the same figure, thus giving everyone what they wants.
That will, of course, take a fair bit of negotiation and agreement from Everton, but there’s little chance they’d object to getting €28m a year early, given their financial problems.
It’s all to be worked out but what is clear is that Juventus don’t want to keep Kean this summer, so they now need to work out how to get rid of him.
