With the Ligue 1 season now over and Paris Saint-Germain narrowly missing out on the title to a sublime Lille team, Leonardo and co. are going to focus on the transfer window.
Their main priority will be to keep Kylian Mbappé and offload some of the deadwood currently floating in their squad, and there will be a need for a decision to be made when it comes to Moise Kean.
The Italy international has been in fine form on loan from Everton this season for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, but with no purchase clause in the initial deal, any transfer would have to be negotiated from scratch.
Carlo Ancelotti has made it very clear he would not stand in the 21-year-old’s way should he ask to move to Paris permanently and a suitable offer be made, but that might never arrived.
According to Le Parisien, Kean’s French future is still a bit murky, with it stated he ‘doesn’t have the guarantee’ of being at the club next season.
While the forward ‘wants to continue the adventure’ and won’t be blocked by Ancelotti, it’s, for now, ‘expected that he will return to the Toffees unless Leonardo and the Parisian board decide to buy him permanently’.
