Four days ago, FcInterNews explained Everton are the most plausible destination for Inter Milan’s Joaquin Correa in the summer.

It was also highlighted that the forward snubbed the Toffees’ ‘concrete’ offer to join the Serie A side from Lazio in 2021. His decision to reject Everton hasn’t fully paid off as the 28-year-old has struggled to shine for the Nerazzurri.

Everton could be given another opportunity to sign him in the next window, if a report from TuttoMercatoWeb journalist Niccolò Ceccarini is to be believed.

When explaining Inter’s transfer plans for the summer, Ceccarini states Correa is the player who ‘should leave’ the San Siro. He adds there could be a future for him in the Premier League, where Sean Dyche’s side are in the picture to sign him.

The journalist further explains Everton have already carried out some surveys for the Argentina international.

With Everton already making contact, they would have to convince the South American, even if Inter are ready to play ball.

Correa has three goals and three assists from 30 games this season.
