Boulaye Dia’s situation continues to be something of a drama.
Premier League sides like West Ham, Newcastle United, Everton and Brentford have all been linked with him.
Il Mattino, as relayed by LaLazioSiamoNoi, cover the situation today and report that the striker is now nearing an exit from the Salerno-based club.
Interest from Italian clubs like Lazio and Milan has never translated into any offers, leading to clubs in England now having an advantage in the situation.
The report states that in England, there is interest from West Ham, Newcastle, Everton and Brentford, but the likes of Girona, Villarreal and Real Betis are also interested parties.
There is also interest from France, however, TuttoSalernitana have gone on to state that playing in the Premier League remains Dia’s ‘dream’.
It remains to be seen whether English clubs make offers for the 27-year-old. West Ham have already signed Niclas Füllkrug and Newcastle already have Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson.
Brentford’s Ivan Toney has been linked with several clubs but he remains at the London side, whereas Everton’s Beto was linked with Atalanta yesterday so perhaps they’re likeliest.
