As Portuguese newspaper O Jogo brings an update on Rafa Silva’s situation at Benfica today, they seem quite confident that there’s a big chance that the player will move to England in January.
The newspaper claims that ‘several’ English clubs have been in contact for him, with ‘concrete offers’ already made.
O Jogo doesn’t seems to know the clubs for sure, but recalls that Everton and Leicester City have been both recently linked to Rafa Silva.
Even though the reports had been saying the midfielder would only leave Benfica on a loan deal, the speech has changed a bit now.
It’s claimed that a permanent deal is not ruled out, as long as the agreement ends up being good both for the Portuguese club and for the player.
Everton and the Leicester were linked to Rafa Silva last week, with claims from A Bola saying they were interested in a loan deal with a €30m purchase option at the end of the season.
But with O Jogo now saying there are ‘several’ English clubs after him, maybe they better hurry up before some other side get him first.
