Despite his limited opportunities, Forsberg has continued to keep his stats-by-the-minute up for both goals and assists.
A flexible attacker, Forsberg plays on the left and through the middle, and now fancies trying his luck in the Premier League.
SportBild report he’s been offered to Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal, Leicester City and Everton.
The first three clubs are routinely linked with players around Europe, so it’s perhaps more interesting to see the Leicester and Everton connections.
Before moving, the clubs would likely want to do some background checks on the player’s current attitude, with there being murmurs about a lack of application in training.
Forsberg has said repeatedly that he doesn’t need to continually prove himself, yet that’s exactly what he’d have to do in the Premier League.
