Things may finally be looking up for Sandro.
With a string of Spanish sides being interested but not quite interested enough to do anything about it, Sevilla have come back into the picture for the Everton player.
Sevilla are looking for a striker and have been strongly linked with Michy Batshuayi over the past week. But Chelsea want to sign a replacement first and they’re finding that hard, which has seen Sevilla grow impatient rather quickly.
That saw them move on to Daniel Sturridge, who has been linked with a string of moves away from Liverpool this month. However, there’s a problem there too, as Estadio Deportivo report the move is ‘complicated’.
By ‘complicated’ we assume they mean expensive and that Liverpool and Sturridge would require more money than the Spanish club want to part with.
All of that has taken Sevilla back round to the idea of signing Sandro from Everton. It’s suggested it could even be a permanent transfer, but Sandro would have to lower the wages he currently earns at Goodison Park.
Sevilla desperately scratching around for a striker, Sandro really needing to find a club… the pieces fit nicely together.
